Prusa MK4
We have two MK4 printers.
How to use the Prusa
Download and install the PrusaSlicer software https://www.prusa3d.com/page/prusaslicer_424/ -- the software translates your 3D model into machine readable instructions for the 3D printer.
Steps:
- Export your 3D model into STL file format (see how to create 3D model)
- Drag and drop your STL 3D model into the PrusaSlicer
- Follow link for PrusaSlicer settings for the MK4
- Put you gcode file into the USB stick and plug the USB stick into the 3D printer
- After plugging the USB stick you should see your model on the Prusa screen
- If you don't see your model on the Prusa screen turn the knob on the screen panel to find your gcode
- Press the knob inwards (the knob is also a button) to print your model
