The IxD Studio is used as the main teaching facility for the Master's Programme Interaction Design and Technologies, and for some of the courses of the Game Design & Technology Master's Programme. The Studio was located in Kuggen (2nd floor), Lindholmen, until December 2025, where it was moved to SB3 building, Johanneberg, nearby the Chalmers FUSE makerspace.

The Studio Wiki serves mostly as equipment inventory, containing a collection of technical examples and a variety of relevant documents. It is maintained by the Studio Director and Studio Manager, and the vision is to become a crowd-sourced collection of student contributions.
